Juan was an exceptional host. He spent the drive to the trailhead telling us about the areas we passed through, hidden beaches, and other interesting stuff. He's a great hiking partner, very easy to talk to, lots of stories to tell and a genuinely nice person.
The hike itself was great, beautiful views and definitely doable for all fitness levels. We're pretty active and made it to the top fairly quickly with no trouble. If you go in the morning (like we did) you're unlikely to run into anyone. Juan mentioned it can get busier as the day goes on.
